Ekaterina Golomysova

Ekaterina Golomysova graduated from a physics and maths college and obtained her bachelor’s and the first master’s degree in civil law from the Nizhny Novgorod State University in Russia and joined a corporate practice in a law firm. Starting her career as a corporate law "generalist" and coming from a physics and maths background, over the years she gravitated towards accompanying young tech companies consulting them on the questions of IP protection, corporate and investment issues. Seeking to widen the jurisdictional scope of her legal expertise, she completed her academic background with an LLM in European and International law and the second master’s degree in Transnational law at Católica Global School of Law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (CGSL) and Utrecht University. Currently, she is a member of the Global Ph.D. Programme at CGSL. Her main scientific interests include the interaction between European Competition Law and Innovation.
