Koshy Tharakan

Koshy Tharakan Graduated in Philosophy from N.S.S. Hindu College, Changanacherry (Affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala) in 199. He did the Masters in Philosophy from the University of Hyderabad, securing the University Medal in 1992. He wasawarded the Research Fellowship of the University Grants Commission (India) during 1992-1996 to conduct research in Philosophy. Obtained the Ph. D degree from the University of Hyderabad for his doctoral thesis on Phenomenological Approach to Social Reality: A Study in Philosophy of Social Sciences. He joined Goa University in 1996 as a Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy. During 29-211, he was an Associate Professor of Philosophy at IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Currently he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Goa University.
