João Pedro Amorim

Is a visual artist and a PhD researcher at the Research Center for Science and Technology in the Arts, at the School of Arts of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto), holding an FCT scholarship. His film on shadows and their names premiered at Doclisboa 2020. He is currently working on a project entitled In Nature’s Spite. His films and installations have been presented in spaces and contexts such as Batalha Centro de Cinema, Cinema Passos Manuel, Galeria Dentro, Mármol and Galeria Extéril (Porto), Vasistas and Ex Vierzehn (Dresden), Doclisboa, Caminhos do Cinema Português and Artspace O (Seoul).
