Helena Gonçalves da Silva

Helena Gonçalves da Silva is Associate Professor of German Literature and Culture Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Universidade de Lisboa. She holds a Ph.D. in German Literature from London University. She is also researcher and member of the Scientific Board of the Research Center for Communication and Culture (CECC). She has published extensively on German literature and culture, edited and co-edited books on the image of the metropolis in literature and, on European memory such as Conflict, Memory Transfers and the Reshaping of Europe (21).
