Is a conservator-restorer and holds a PhD in Painting Conservation in 2013 (UCP). He was awarded a PhD and post-doctoral scholarship by FCT. He became an integrated researcher at Research Center for Science and Technology in the Arts (CITAR - School of Arts, UCP). His research focus is on digital technologies applied to the Conservation and Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage.
