Federica Manfredi

Completed her PhD degree in Medical Anthropology at the Institute of Social Sciences - University of Lisbon (2022), funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia to explore European suspensions and nontherapeutic body modifications with experimental qualitative methodologies. Member of the project Excel - The Pursuit of Excellence, she developed outreaching activities with the workshop series The Hacked Barbie, and she cooperated in the art exhibition Be F**King Perfect (Lisbon. 2022). Nowadays she is behavioral analyst and post-doc fellow researcher at the University of Torino (Italy), where she investigates the invisibilization of vulvar pain.
