UCE does not refund the value of the purchased items, unless the purchase is made through the UCE website and under - article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of 14 February - Right of free withdrawal in contracts concluded at a distance or concluded outside the establishment. In this case, the return costs are borne by the User.
Returned items must be in sales condition.
To request an exchange or return, Utilizador must use the specific form in his client area.
If the value resulting from an exchange of items is greater than the initial purchased value, User will have to pay for the difference, using one of the payment methods (internal link) indicated in the general conditions of sale.
If the value resulting from the exchange of items is lower than the value of the initial order to be exchanged, the refund of the value to the User will be made through a refund by bank transfer, so it may be necessary to request additional information. The same applies to cases of return where there will be a refund of the total value of the order.
User cannot exercise the right of free resolution provided for in article 10 above, in the case of personalized articles such as autographed books and from the moment he downloads an ebook since the download is considered equivalent to remove the “seal of inviolability guarantee”.
