ColloquIA is an initiative of the multidisciplinary research group Law and Artificial Intelligence, one of the projects in the line of Fundamental Research of the Católica Research Center for the Future of Law.
ColloquIA designates the set of colloquia organized to bring to a public debate the research carried out by the group, involving, among others, the areas of engineering, neuroscience, bioethics, philosophy, theology, sociology, psychology or economic sciences and business – fundamental in the approach of Law to the social and ethical dilemmas that artificial intelligence poses to us.
In this collection, lectures presented in various colloquia, which includes prestigious researchers from UCP and from other reputable institutions with international projection, such as the Instituto Superior Técnico and the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon, are gathered.
