This is the Portuguese version of the Parisian mother magazine Propriétés intellectuelles from the IRPI - Institut de Recherche en Propriété Intellectuelle of University Paris II Panthéon-Assas from which it incorporates exclusive contents that are translated into the Portuguese language.
It is a biannual publication that debates and disseminates current legal issues in the world of Intellectual Property by publishing articles of doctrine, comments on the jurisprudence of national and foreign courts, including the Court of Justice of the European Union, and various articles related with relevant events in the world of copyright, patents, trademarks, design, domain names, among others.

Scientific board of the journal Propriedades Intelectuais has an Editorial Committee that incorporates relevant names in this area, in the Portuguese-speaking world, from legal professions, academia or business world. It is an autonomous publication, without any dependence of a political, ideological and economic nature guided by criteria of rigor, exemption and pluralism.
