At the Public Health Unit of the Institute of Health Sciences at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, working towards contributing to improve people's health and wellbeing, both at the individual and community level, is understood as a mission. While analysing the field related to a certain pathology, it is intended to understand and trace, involving all the actors, the patient's ecosystem in order to know not only the disease, but all its components. Consenso Estratégico Nacional collection brings together the texts developed by a Stering Commitee, constituted for each theme, which deeply investigates a specific public health theme, always beginning and ending with the patient's care.
