Dana T. Redford é Presidente da Plataforma para a Educação do Empreendedorismo em Portugal e Professor de Empreendedorismo e Inovação na Faculdade de Economia e Gestão na Universidade Católica Portuguesa do Porto. Criou e geriu quatro start-ups em três continentes diferentes. O Professor Redford é reconhecido como perito internacional na área do empreendedorismo e das políticas públicas. Trabalhou para o Department of Commerce nos Estados Unidos da América e como consultor para o governo Português. Lidera, como perito, o sub-grupo Stakeholder Engagement no âmbito do grupo de trabalho temático em Educação para o Empreendedorismo na Comissão Europeia e é avaliador para a OCDE.
Realizou o seu Pós-Doutoramento no Institute for European Studies e na Haas School of Business da Universidade da Califórnia em Berkeley, onde é Director de Curso no Center for Executive Education, e membro do Conselho Diretivo do Programa de Estudos Portugueses. É doutorado em Gestão, Estratégia Empresarial e Empreendedorismo pelo ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa e licenciado (honors) em Ciência Política pela Universidade de Colorado em Boulder.

Dana T. Redford is President of the Platform for Entrepreneurship Education in Portugal and Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto. He founded and managed four start-ups in three different continents.
Dr. Redford has been recognized as an international expert in the area of entrepreneurship and public policy. He has worked with the US Department of Commerce and as a Consultant for the Portuguese government. He leads the Subgroup on Stakeholder Engagement at the European Commission Thematic Working Group on Entrepreneurship Education and has been an expert evaluator for the OECD.
Professor Redford did his Post-Doc research at the Institute for European Studies and the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, where he is currently a Faculty Director at the Center for Executive Education and on the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Studies Program. He received his PhD in Management, Corporate Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Lisbon University Institute-ISCTE and holds an undergraduate Honors Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
